 B School Rankings have always evoked great enthusiasm among the B School aspirants in India . The methodology engaged for ranking B Schools varied from organization to organization and over a period of time the methodologies have seen a sea change. While the numbers of parameters for ascertaining the rankings of B Schools have increased it has created invariably more ambiguity in presenting the clear picture of where the B Schools stands.

Significantly, over the years with the starting of B School Surveys the admission process in the B Schools have been affected a great deal. IIPM considers the fact that the B Schools Surveys do hold great importance in India in choosing the right B School especially in a country like India where around 1200 B Schools are operating and also where the competition has become fierce to attract more students and recruiters year by year.

 

Though IIPM believes that the various parameters like infrastructure, placement, industry interface, course contents, faculty and quality of students ascertain the rankings of the B School to large extent, the institute also holds the opinion that the Industry interface parameter perhaps is the only index which involves no value judgments. It is measured purely in terms of the revenue earned from consulting assignments undertaken by an institute and its faculty. It's a direct reflection of how much the industry trusts your institute's education. IIPM considers the fact that when your institute is the best , its tough to accept even the over all ranking any less as it involves weight ages based upon value judgments on other aspects like infrastructure etc.
